 He staid with us for a few days while Dad went on vacation.  Man was he cute, but I am so convinced I don't want a puppy!  Rescue dogs work for me!

Deschutes hike

On a lark (that we almost regretted), we decided to go for a hike on the Deschutes.  One of my favorite places on the planet, but normally a summertime activity.  The snow was beautiful though

It just might have been smart to think about driving I 84 in the middle of winter, for a little hike.

Riot was a bit too much for my tiny house, but he and Huck are still fighting, so I've got Huck now.  He's a stubborn old sweety.  Boy does he smell like an old dog though.  And he thinks the bed is his.  I didn't even invite him up!

Silver Star Hike

Mom and I went for a hike up to silver Star Mountain.  The trail was very confusing and we got lost a lot, but it was amazingly beautiful.  And it is supposed to be even better in the spring with wildflowers galore

 Riot was hilarious when I tried to give him water.  He obviously wanted to suck on the tube itself and he's big enough that I couldn't stay above him.

Riot visiting again

Riot came back to visit us.  He and Huck L. Berry did not get along so I took him for some down time.

Riot went back to Kimbyl's and Huck beat him up, se we then had him for convalescence.  Poor boy looks miserable, doesn't he?
