Being an account of the trials and tribulations, but mostly the beauty, of Heather's attempt to live a life worth living, sharing, and being laughed at...
Katherine was getting her hair cut so I took the girls for a little wander through portland. I love these kids. These are just some fun pictures from the sculpture garden of the Portland Art Museum
Katherine's sister Becky and her husband Mike were in town. We all went for a lovely hike on the beach. Some of the best weather I've every seen on the Oregon coast, and it was the end of November!
the girls were great hikers, and Isabella is already a naturalist.
Katherine and John and the girls joined us up at Eric's Parent's place for a weekend of playing on the beach and digging clams. It was a ton of fun. Also, group naps
Chanterelles have been amazing this year. Here is my harvest from one solitary hour of picking. and I left behind most of what I found.
One of the best parts of this summer is the time I got to spend with Bella and Ali. They were mine every thursday I was in town (which admittedly wasn't a lot). It was so much fun hanging out with them.
Katherine and John brought the girls out to Dad's house to get some rocks and plants before they log the property next to us. It was an adventure of riding in the back of a truck, lost keys, and fun finds.
I got to hang out with my girls last weekend. Finally, I remembered to take some pictures of them. They are growing up! Lexie is a very fun baby and let me hold her lots. Even though Ive been bad and haven't visited for ages
Bella was a bit shy at first. I think she was mad at me for not visiting her. But she warmed up and we had fun.

It is very hard to get a picture of Bella because she would much rather be the one taking the photo
Rin tolerates the girls, but it sure tries his patience
My girls came to visit me last weekend, aren't they beautiful?
Isabella is wearing the outfit Grandma and I made while I was down there last month. Bella got to pick berries, play with llamas, and run around like a country girl. She wasn't so sure of what to make of me taking pictures though.
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Alexandria is really starting to grow and get her personality
hmmm... what am I thinking?
Dad teaching Bella about cooking
It was so much fun to have them here. Not sure if it will ever happen again though, poor Katherine had a heck of a drive home.
