Pinecrest lake

Grandma took me over to Pinecrest lake to meet up with a bunch of her old hiking buddies. This group of lovely people has been hiking together weekly for over 40 years!
Admittedly, they are starting to slow down a bit. Rinley and I took off for a quick hike later in the afternoon while they went to lounge by the pool.

Pinecrest lake is very pretty, though I think it must be overwhelming when all the people are there. got to love warm fall days, off season!

They rang the bell for me, I am officially done. I turned in my dissertation to graduate studies this afternoon, and it was accepted. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I just posted a bunch of pics that I have been meaning to post for ages. Just because I am a little bit anal, I put them in the correct order. Meaning, they are behind the lost coast pics. So, if you care, scroll on down. I post some of this stuff mostly for myself anyways. Finally getting some time now that Ive moved out of my house (4 years in the same place, it was hard to give up the keys!) and am ready to turn in my thesis (yikes!).

I have an appointment with the office of graduate studies this Thursday. There is a very good chance I will turn in my dissertation at that time. This means, I could actually be done with school. no, really!
