Eric and I went hiking in the Gorge, it we almost surreal 

 It's been a stressful month and we needed the release

 On my way home the other day, we had the most beautiful weather.  Stormy/sunny/amazing.  I love the light.  It made even these buildings beautiful

They are finally insulating the house.  There was some drama as the county protested at the very last minute since it was a 'new' technique.  Really, they wanted the $500 processing fee is what I think, but oh well.  It's done now

 The garage siding is on.  Patterned cement.  Works for some, not for others.  Interesting though

Huck L. Berry

Riot was a bit too much for my tiny house, but he and Huck are still fighting, so I've got Huck now.  He's a stubborn old sweety.  Boy does he smell like an old dog though.  And he thinks the bed is his.  I didn't even invite him up!

Silver Star Hike

Mom and I went for a hike up to silver Star Mountain.  The trail was very confusing and we got lost a lot, but it was amazingly beautiful.  And it is supposed to be even better in the spring with wildflowers galore

 Riot was hilarious when I tried to give him water.  He obviously wanted to suck on the tube itself and he's big enough that I couldn't stay above him.

Riot came back to visit us.  He and Huck L. Berry did not get along so I took him for some down time.

Riot went back to Kimbyl's and Huck beat him up, se we then had him for convalescence.  Poor boy looks miserable, doesn't he?

Rock hunting with the Hunt girls

Katherine and John brought the girls out to Dad's house to get some rocks and plants before they log the property next to us.  It was an adventure of riding in the back of a truck, lost keys, and fun finds.
