Turkish visit

We got an email yesterday from the Turkish guy we bought rugs from on our honeymoon.  He was in Vancouver so he dropped by for a visit.  And of course, the rugs came out.  

It was fun to re-experience this, in my own home

Fun to drink turkish coffee, feed them with my own hospitality, and let them play with Aven.

And we even went for it and bought a rug for her room

Visiting Pops

Slow foods and Art

Slow foods did a cool art exhibit where they asked local farmers and chefs to submit food art.  Then held a gallery.  We helped with set up, which meant we really help the baby and told the girl doing the real work to go left and up etc.
