It was a serious challenge to get them in place.  We discussed at the nursery how they would pot them in place, but that didn't happen. Oh so heavy.

I spent a lot of the trip sitting in the car with Aven sleeping like this

But eventually she woke up and I got to visit my primita

Katie enjoyed carrying a baby again, and I enjoyed walking with a cool back in the heat.

Grandma Carpenter visit

Because I was in the vicinity, I popped across the bay to see Grandma Carpenter.

After the visit, we went to a choral concert.  Aven and Stayed outside but luckily it was hot so all the windows were open and I didn't miss anything.
