Praha

Next, on to Czech.  Dasa had a dinner in Prague so since Eric had never been there, we took a bus and spent the afternoon exploring the city.  The bus was stuck in horrid traffic, and it was rainy and cold (August anyone?), but Prague is Prague.

We climbed up to the Prazsky Hrad (Prague Castle) and wandered around.
This couple was all sweet and romantic.

View of the city

The tourist way up to the castle

Karluv Most
(Charles bridge)

These little baked donut things were all over Prague.  Some confusion over ingredients later (I should have tried to order in czech, but I wimped out over the r) we had a yummy hot nutella filled sweetness.

Then we climbed the Charles bridge tower for an amazing night view of Prazsky hrad

And then on to the tower above the Prazsky Orlov (astronomical clock).  More amazing night views of Prague

Not that great a pick, I know, but I love the skyline

We sat up here for ages.  There was a very talented piano player in the square and we listened until he quit and they practically kicked us out of the tower.
