Sunday afternoon adventures

Dasa, Hugo, Honza and I went mushroom hunting last Sunday. It was a lovely adventure.
The poor Vltava is all muddy from some misguided use of EU funding (digging the channel deeper so boats can tour from Prague, never mind the impassible dams, huh). Still pretty though.
I found this mushroom, yummy.
Not much of a haul overall, but we made up for it in wild strawberries, blueberries, and woods tromping.
Afterwards, Dasa took Hugo home for a nap and Honza gave me a tour of an old porcelain mine.
It was pretty cool inside, but getting in was rather... interesting. These flimsy, moving sticks were all that separated you from freezing slimy water covering the stickiest mud ever. The walls sloped in so you couldn't lean on them very well. And all this in utter darkness. weeee
Afterwards though, our reward - my favorite Czech meal. Lovely duck!
