Around Daša's house

I wandered around yesterday taking pictures of the town Daša lives in. It's called Hluboka. There will be a lot more to come from this town. I still have to go to the castle on the hill behind Daša's house, and there are some nifty little crossroad shrines that I want to show you, but here is a start.

The light in the evening is beautiful This is the view out the kitchen window.

This is Daša and Jakub's house. It is still under construction.

This is the fascinating old house just below theirs. It was abandoned after the big flood that did so much damage a few years ago. It's fun to poke around in though.

I love this old house. It's down the street. It also obviously suffered in the flood, but from this angle looks lovely.
