Driving in Turkey

On our 5th day in Turkey, we drove up the D350 towards Antalya.  Driving in this country was nowhere as bad as we feared, but had its own challenges.  Lots of road work and diverted traffic.  Eric was glad he played Mario cart.  Driving was simply spectacular.  For me at least, since I could spend the whole time staring out the window.

One day, on the road to Fethiye, we took the old road instead of the new tunnel.  Pretty, but my tummy said not again

Fethiye is a big cruise port town.  Driving through was always interesting

I enjoyed the mosques

The drive up D350 was absolutely spectacular

Tea stands on every pullout

Beautiful

Tractor on the highway

Pretty little mosque

Coastal views

There were lots of little garden restaurants on the road.  We finally stopped at one for lunch one day.

Not the best food of the trip, but still fun
